Sanghvi said that people do not need to stand in long queues at petrol pumps on the basis of rumours. Ahmedabad Petrol Pump Association President Arvind Thakkar has also appealed to the drivers not to pay attention to rumours. Petrol and diesel are available at all petrol pumps. No shortage of petrol and diesel in Gujarat: Chief Secretary Amid rumors of shortage of petrol and diesel in Gujarat, Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Supplies Corporation, Monakhand said that there is adequate stock available at all petrol pumps in the state and citizens need not stand in queues due to misunderstanding. Indian Oil Corporation nodal officer Sanjay Mehra also said that the supply in the state is regular and there is no shortage. He warned that if any dealer refuses to supply petrol and diesel despite having stock, strict action will be taken against him. The president of Petrol-Diesel Association also said in a joint statement that queues have formed at some places including Ahmedabad due to misunderstanding, but the government is supplying adequate quantity and all dealers are getting supplies as per their requirement. There is no shortage of petrol and diesel in the state – Dhimant Gailani Gujarat Petrol-Diesel Dealers Association Secretary Dhimant Gailani said that only 7 pumps of Indian Oil Corporation are currently closed in the state. The supply chain was affected due to the two-day holiday. There is no shortage of petrol and diesel. The association has given a memorandum in this regard to the officials of Indian Oil Corporation. He said that earlier there were obstructions at some places, which have been removed. There is no problem now. Dealers will be able to order goods as per their requirement.
