On the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian appealed for unity among Islamic countries, emphasising Tehran has “no dispute” with its neighbours.
He also warned that Israel stands to benefit from the differences among the Muslim nations.
“To the Islamic countries and our dear neighbours, you are our brothers, and we are not engaged in any dispute with you. The only beneficiary of our differences is the Zionist entity”, Pezeshkian wrote in a post on ‘X’.

“We ask God on Eid_al-Fitr to grant us strength and unity by acting upon the teachings of Rasul Allah to gain His pleasure”, he added.
West Asia Conflict
In the backdrop of the statement lies the regional conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. On February 28, the US and Israel launched coordinated attacks, targeting multiple sites and facilities across Iran.
In retaliation, Tehran unleashed attacks across the Gulf nations — including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar — targeting military and energy facilities linked to Washington and Jerusalem.
When Will The War End?
Amid the high-intensity war in West Asia, US President Donald Trump said Friday that he was considering “winding down” military operations against Iran.
He added that the objectives are soon to be met. In a post on Truth Social, he wrote, “We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East”.
Soon after Trump’s message, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, in a post on X, said “The President and the Pentagon predicted it would take approximately 4-6 weeks to achieve this mission.”

Leavitt claimed the Iranian Regime is “being crippled day by day”.
“Tomorrow marks week 3 — and the US Armed Forces are doing an exceptional job. Day by day, the Iranian Regime is being crippled, and their ability to threaten the United States and our allies is being significantly weakened”.
