Mirae Asset Mutual Fund has achieved a major achievement on the occasion of Women’s Day. The name of the company has been recorded in ‘Asia Book of Records’ and ‘India Book of Records’.
This honor has been given for the largest ‘investment focused financial literacy campaign’ ever run for women. Through this campaign, the company has achieved the goal of making thousands of women across the country financially literate.
The campaign reached 45 cities and 320 colleges of the country.
Mirae Asset had kept the scope of its campaign quite large. According to the company, this campaign was not limited to only big metros, rather it was run in 45 different cities of the country.
During this period, the team visited 320 colleges and interacted with young girl students and women. Its main objective was to make women aware of investments and prepare them to take financial decisions independently.
39,833 women got investment information
A total of 39,833 women were empowered through this investor education programme. In the program, women were taught savings, mutual funds and better financial planning methods. On registering the name in the record book, the company said that this reflects our commitment in which we want to see women financially self-reliant.
