  • Big fan of Sunny Deol: Diljit told that he is a big fan of Sunny Deol. He shared that working with Sunny Paaji on the sets was like a ‘fan moment’ for him. He said, “It is a matter of pride to share the screen today shoulder to shoulder with those whose films we grew up watching in our childhood.”
  • Said yes without listening to the script: Diljit told in an interview that when he got the call for this role, he said yes without reading the script. For him ‘Border’ is not just a film but an emotion. He said that being a Punjabi, it is a great honor for him to live the story of soldiers on screen.
  • Did not get money to visit the border in childhood: Diljit Dosanjh told that when Border movie came out, many boys from the village went to the city to watch the film. Diljit says that he also had a great desire to watch the film Border in the cinema, but could not get the money from home. Due to this he could not go to watch the movie.
