After US President Donald Trump, now China has also claimed that it played a role in reducing the military tension between India and Pakistan. China says that when the situation between the two countries worsened this year, it tried to reduce the tension by intervening.

At an event held in Beijing on Tuesday, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that China has been helping to resolve many conflicts in the world. He told that China had also mediated during the tension between India and Pakistan.

China’s Foreign Ministry shared his statement on social media. President Trump has also taken credit for stopping this conflict more than 50 times so far.

This statement is regarding the time when there was a military confrontation between India and Pakistan in May this year. During this period, India had targeted many terrorist bases of Pakistan, due to which a total of 11 airbases were damaged.

India carried out this attack in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, in which 26 tourists were killed.

India has said – there is no role of third country in ceasefire

Contrary to the claims of China and Trump, the Indian government has clearly said that no third country had any role in this entire matter. India says that this tension ended only through direct talks between the armies of India and Pakistan.

According to India, the Pakistani military officer had contacted the Indian military officer after suffering heavy losses. India says that Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations spoke to the Indian DGMO and after this both the countries agreed to stop all types of military actions on land, air and sea from May 10.

After this new claim of China, discussion has started again about its role, because relations between China and Pakistan are considered very close. China is the country that supplies the most arms to Pakistan, hence questions have been raised as to how impartial it can be in this matter.

China tried to spread fake information

An American report in November alleged that China had tried to spread misinformation after Operation Sindoor.

The report said that false images created by AI were spread through fake accounts on social media, whose purpose was to damage the image of France’s Rafale fighter planes used by India and promote China’s own J-35 aircraft.

At the diplomatic level, when India started Operation Sindoor, on the same day China had appealed for restraint. However, China had also expressed concern over India’s military action and said that it was monitoring the situation.

During the conflict, China and Pakistan had shared several AI generated fake pictures of downed Indian jets.

Beginning with attacks on terrorist hideouts

India started the attack on Pakistan from the night of 6 and 7 May. India had attacked terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. These targets also included areas like Bahawalpur and Muridke of Punjab state of Pakistan.

In response to this, on the evening of 8 May, Pakistan tried to attack India’s air defense system. He used Turkish and Chinese drones, but was not successful.

India’s air defense was completely active and every weapon, from small arms to large air defense systems, was ready. These weapons caused considerable damage to Pakistan’s drones.

The Indian Army also badly engaged the Pakistan Army on the other side of the border using heavy guns and rocket launchers and caused huge losses to it.
