His sisters are not able to meet former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is lodged in Pakistan’s Adiala jail. Despite ongoing efforts for the last one year, the jail administration is stopping the meeting every time citing security reasons.
On Tuesday night, Imran Khan’s sisters Alima Khan, Noreen Niazi and Dr. Uzma Khan, along with Imran’s supporters, sat on a dharna outside the jail.
He alleged that during the peaceful protest, the Punjab Police resorted to darkness and lathi-charged him. Noreen Khan, 71, claimed that she was dragged on the road by her hair. Other women were also assaulted.
Meanwhile, rumors about Imran Khan’s death spread on social media. Some posts claimed that he had been taken to some other place. However, these claims have not been officially confirmed.
Many accounts on social media platform X have spread rumors of Imran’s death.
High Court has given approval to meet Imran
In March 2025, Islamabad High Court had given permission to Imran Khan to meet his family and lawyers regularly, but the jail administration is not following the order.
In October 2025, the court ordered the resumption of visits, yet his sisters have still not been able to get a single visit.
Imran’s sisters were misbehaved last week
Last week, Imran Khan’s sisters were misbehaved by Rawalpindi Police. He was dragged on the road and forcefully detained.
According to media reports, this incident happened when his sisters had reached Adiala jail for the weekly meeting with Imran Khan, but they were not allowed to meet.

This is not the first time that such an incident has happened with Imran Khan’s sisters in Pakistan. Earlier in September 2025, there was an incident of eggs being thrown at Alima while she was talking to the media outside Adiala jail.
Apart from this, Alima, Noreen and Uzma were also arrested while trying to reach jail in April 2025.
Alima Khan is associated with the charitable welfare organizations of brother Imran Khan. Dr. Uzma Khan is a qualified surgeon. At the same time, there is very little publicly available information about Noreen Niazi.
Imran Khan has been in jail for 3 years
More than 100 cases are pending against Imran Khan and he is in jail since August 2023. He has been sentenced to 14 years in prison in a corruption case, which includes charges like selling government gifts (Toshakhana case) and leaking government secrets.
Imran is accused of selling Pakistan government’s land worth billions of rupees cheaply to Al-Qadir Trust. Imran was arrested in this case on 9 May 2023. After this, many important army bases were attacked across the country.
Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had booked Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi and 6 other persons in December 2023 in the Al-Qadir Trust case. However, before this case was registered against Imran, he was already lodged in Adiala jail in the Toshakhana case.
Al-Qadir Trust case is a scam of Rs 50 billion
- According to Pakistani media reports, there are 4 important characters in this case. Imran Khan and wife Bushra Bibi, billionaire land mafia Malik Riaz and Bushra’s friend Farah Gogi.
- The Pakistan government alleges that when Khan became Prime Minister, he implicated Malik Riaz in a money laundering case. Riyaz’s property worth billions of rupees was confiscated in Britain. One of his henchmen was also arrested in London, from which 40 billion Pakistani rupees were recovered.
- It is alleged that two deals were made after this case. Under this, the British government returned the money recovered from Riyaz’s henchman to the Pakistan government.
- It is alleged that Imran did not inform the cabinet about this money. Rather, he formed a trust named Al Qadir and started a university to impart religious education. Its board of directors had 3 members. Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi.
- It has been said in the FIR of this case that Malik Riaz gave land worth billions of rupees for this. Also gifted a diamond ring to Bushra Bibi. In return, all the cases of Riyaz were dropped.
- Pakistan Home Minister Rana Sanaullah said after Imran’s arrest – This is the biggest scam in the history of Pakistan. The government treasury suffered a loss of at least Rs 50 billion. Despite this, neither Imran nor Bushra came for questioning even once in 13 months. Only 32 students took admission in this university in 3 years.
