While reading the resolution, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that on November 10, anti-national forces carried out a heinous terrorist incident by blasting a car near the Red Fort. The Cabinet expresses its condolences to the families of those killed in this attack and wishes speedy recovery of the injured. The resolution also praised the medical personnel who provided immediate assistance to the victims.
Describing the blast as a “cowardly and despicable act”, the Cabinet said that India condemns terrorism in all its forms. The Cabinet also expressed its gratitude for the expressions of solidarity and support received from the governments of various countries of the world on this incident.
