US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has said that America’s relations with China are now better than before. After meeting Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun in Malaysia, he said that both the countries have agreed to increase mutual dialogue and maintain stability in defense relations.
Hegseth wrote on social media platform
Relations between America and China are stronger than ever. After the historic meeting of Trump and President Xi Jinping in South Korea, I also had a very positive and useful conversation with Admiral Dong Jun.
According to the US minister, both countries believe that peace, stability and good relations are the way forward. He said Trump’s historic meeting has laid a strong foundation for long-term partnership and peace.
Hegseth also said that it has been agreed to create a military-to-military communication channel to increase direct communication between the armies of the two countries, so that any disputes or misunderstandings can be resolved immediately.
