Physics Wallah has introduced an innovative device called the AI Box, designed to turn any TV or projector into a learning tool. This new gadget allows students to watch lessons, take quizzes and prepare for competitive exams. The AI Box is for students who do not have a mobile phone or reliable internet at home.

The box lets students learn in Hindi while practising with quizzes and exercises, which makes studying simpler, more interactive and easier for students.

How Does This AI Box Work?

The device can be connected to almost any TV and comes preloaded with lessons and quizzes. With its simple plug and play setup, the device can be used at home, in classrooms, or in community centres without any technical difficulties. While students can use the AI Box to study on their own, teachers in classes can also use it as a reference to help students prepare for competitive exams.

What are the AI features?

According to Alakh Pandey, the Physics Wallah team has converted all their content into Hindi, making it easier for students from underprivileged backgrounds to access high quality lessons and prepare for government exams. He added that students can use a variety of existing educational apps on the AI Box, just like on a smartphone. This includes popular apps like YouTube, as well as government learning apps. Users can run any compatible app on the device.

Any Further Plans On AI

Alakh Pandey hasn’t revealed detailed plans for the future of the AI Box, but he mentioned that the team is now planning to visit schools and educational institutes in cities and villages across India to promote the device and make more students, as well as teachers, aware of its benefits.

Why Are Redditors Comparing It With Fire Stick and PI 4?

Since the launch of the AI Box, Reddit users have been comparing it to the Fire TV Stick, which is also an affordable way to turn a regular TV into a smart TV by connecting and installing apps. Some have questioned the AI features, saying the device is simply a pendrive with a few pre loaded apps.

Others are comparing it with the Raspberry Pi 4, a small chip used for projects like low-cost desktops, media servers, retro gaming, learning to code and running web or file servers.
