Haryana CET 2025
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has initiated the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for recruitment to Group C posts. After a prolonged wait, the Commission has now activated the official portal for application form corrections, following a decision by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on a petition (CWP No. 17581 of 2025). Candidates can amend personal information, category, and socio-economic criteria scores through the Haryana CET 2025 correction window.
The CET exam was held on July 26 and 27, 2025, to recruit over 32,000 Group C positions, attracting participation from more than 1.2 million candidates. Even minor errors in documents or forms can disqualify a candidate from the selection process. The correction window will be open from October 17 to October 24, 2025, after which requests for additional time or offline corrections will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to visit the official website, onetimeregn.haryana.gov.in, for details.
Accuracy in application forms is crucial in any government job recruitment process, particularly for the Haryana CET, where there is minimal room for error regarding claiming Socio-Economic Criteria scores. Many candidates, in haste or inadvertently, selected the wrong category or failed to claim additional points despite being eligible under the “no job” criterion. This correction portal aims to address such issues.
Candidates wishing to change their category must possess a valid certificate issued before the extended cut-off date of June 14, 2025. The Commission is strict about deadlines and has stated that no requests for category correction will be accepted in physical form at the HSSC office. Eligible candidates should make the most of this limited period to ensure their applications are error-free and enhance their chances of securing a future position.
This correction window is primarily for candidates needing to:
1. Change their category, especially General Category candidates domiciled in Haryana who now wish to avail benefits under reserved categories (like SC/BC/EWS).
2. Correct errors in claiming 5 additional marks under ‘No Job’ or other criteria.
3. Rectify errors in uploading required certificates (like caste certificate, residence certificate) during form submission.
Candidates can access the official portal onetimeregn.haryana.gov.in and log in using their mobile number and password. Uploading valid documents supporting any online corrections is mandatory. Documents related to category or socio-economic marks must have been issued before June 14, 2025 (or the last date set by the Commission). After making corrections, candidates should thoroughly check their forms and may print them out for future reference.
