The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination-II, 2025 results. Those who appeared for the exam can now check the merit list by visiting the official website at upsc.gov.in.

Passing the UPSC CDS 2 exam is essential for becoming an officer in the prestigious defence forces such as the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The CDS II written exam was conducted on September 14, 2025, in three sessions across the country. The English paper was held from 9 AM to 11 AM, the General Knowledge paper from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and the Basic Mathematics paper from 4 PM to 6 PM.

— To check the government result, visit the official website of Union Public Service Commission upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.

— On the homepage, click on the link related to ‘Results’ or ‘UPSC CDS 2 Result 2025’.

— The result will open on the screen featuring the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates.

— Search for your name and roll number on the merit list.

— Check your result carefully and download it. Take a printout of it for future reference.

UPSC CDS Selection Process: SSB Interview

Candidates who qualified the written exam will be called for the next stage of the selection process, a Service Selection Board interview and medical examination. This stage evaluates a candidate’s mental ability, communication skills, leadership skills, and overall potential to become an officer.

The SSB interview is divided into two stages:

Stage 1: It consists of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR), Picture Perception and Description Test (PP & DT).

Stage 2: Includes psychology test, Group Testing Officer (GTO) duties and final conference.

Selected candidates will be required to register online on the Indian Army Recruitment website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks of declaration of written result.
