The Sensex is trading at 82,250 by climbing 300 points on the third trading day of the week today i.e. on 8 October. The Nifty is also at 80 points, it is at 25,180 levels.
19 out of 30 Sensex are rose. Titan is about 4% above. Infosys and TCS also have a rise of up to 2%. There is a decline in 11 shares including Tata Motors and BEL.
29 shares out of 50 of the Nifty have fallen, 21 is a rise. IT, Pharma, Banking and Healthcare sector of NSE is a boom. FMCG and Realty Index declines.
Mixed business in global market
- In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at 47,965 above 0.030% and Hong Kong’s Hangseng index at 26,673 below 1.06%.
- Korea’s Kospi is closed due to national holiday. At the same time, due to the Mead Autumn Festival in China, there will be no trading in Shanghai Composite till October 8.

FII bought shares worth 1,441 crore on 7 October
- On 7 October, Foreign Investors (FIIs) purchased a net of Rs 1,440.66 crore in the cash segment and a net of Rs 452.57 crore by domestic investors (DIS).
- In September, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹ 35,301.36 crore. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of ₹ 65,343.59 crore during this period.
- In August, foreign investors sold shares worth ₹ 46,902.92 crore. At the same time, domestic investors made net purchases of Rs 94,828.55 crore during this period.
