Now the shooting of its sequel Son of Sardar 2 is going to start soon, although there were reports that Sanjay Dutt has been removed from the film just a few days before the shooting begins. The reason for his removal from the film was said to be his UK visa being rejected. However, Dainik Bhaskar sources have confirmed that Sanjay Dutt is still a part of the film. The news of his removal from the film and replacement with Ravi Kishan are rumours.

A close source associated with Son of Sardar 2 told Dainik Bhaskar that Sanjay Dutt has not been removed from the film. He is only shooting his part in India.

There were rumours that he would be removed from the film due to the 1993 bomb blast

In a recent Mid Day report, citing sources, Sanjay Dutt has applied for UK visa several times since his arrest in the 1993 bomb blasts, but his visa request has been rejected every time. The first shooting schedule of Son of Sardar has been set for the UK. As soon as the film team came to know that Sanjay Dutt’s visa request has been rejected, the team replaced Sanjay with Ravi Kishan.

Ajay Devgan made the official announcement of the shooting

On Tuesday, Ajay Devgan made the official announcement of the start of the shooting of the film. He shared some behind the scenes videos and wrote, the journey of Son of Sardar 2 is being started with blessings, prayers and amazing team.

In the video shared, Ajay Devgan is seen in the Gurudwara.

Amidst the news of Sanjay Dutt being removed from the film, Ajay Devgan has tagged him in his post. Along with Sanjay, Ajay has also tagged Ravi Kishan in the post. This makes it clear that both Sanjay and Ravi Kishan will be seen together in the film.

Let us tell you that there were serial bomb blasts in Mumbai in the year 1993. During the investigation, Sanjay Dutt’s name also came up, for which he had to stay in jail for several months. Sanjay Dutt has not been able to get a UK visa till date since his name came up in the case.
