The second match of the women’s T20 series between India and South Africa was inconclusive due to rain. The visiting team lost the toss and elected to bat first in Chennai on Sunday. Opener Tazmin Britz scored a fifty in the second consecutive T20. With the help of her fifty, the team scored 177 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Anneke Bosch from South Africa played an innings of 40 runs in 32 balls. Pooja Vastrakar and Deepti Sharma from India took 2-2 wickets. As soon as the first innings ended, it started raining in Chennai. Due to this, India’s batting could not start. By winning the first T-20, South Africa is leading the series 1-0. The third T-20 match will be played in Chennai on July 9.

Britz’s second consecutive fifty
