According to the agency, it was around 7:30 pm on Tuesday evening. Thane There was everyday hustle and bustle on the road in Pachpakhari area of Naupada area. Due to the presence of hotels and shops nearby, there was constant movement of people. Meanwhile, a test drive of a new car was going on.
There were three people in the car. One of these people was an employee of the automobile showroom from where the car was taken for test drive. Everything seemed normal, but within a few moments the situation changed completely.
Suddenly the car lost its balance. Within no time the car went out of control. Before the driver could understand anything or apply brakes, the car collided directly with an auto-rickshaw parked on the roadside.

The collision was so strong that the auto-rickshaw was shaken. The uncontrolled car continued moving ahead and hit two two-wheelers parked on the roadside.
Before the people around could understand anything, the car moved straight towards the pit of a construction work going on nearby. A pit about 20 feet deep was dug there for the construction of a building. In the blink of an eye the car fell into that deep pit.
As soon as the car fell down, there was chaos among the people present nearby. People immediately ran towards the spot. The pit was very deep and the car was badly stuck in it. The three people sitting inside were trapped in the car itself. After the accident, the airbags of the car opened immediately, due to which the people sitting inside did not suffer serious injuries.
Local people immediately started relief work
Local people started relief work without any delay. Some people went down into the pit and after a lot of effort, pulled out the three people trapped in the car. All three were injured, but their condition was said to be out of danger.
Meanwhile, as soon as information about the accident was received, the Disaster Management Department and other emergency teams also reached the spot. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital, where they are being treated.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened so suddenly that no one got a chance to recover. Within a few seconds, the car hit several vehicles and then fell into a pit. Officials say that if the airbags in the car had not deployed, the accident could have been even more serious.
