RRB NTPC Result 2025 Declared: Steps To CBT 1 Scores, What’s Next

The Railway Recruitment Board has released the RRB NTPC 2025 Undergraduate Examination (CBT-1) result 2025. The exam was conducted from June 5 to June 24, 2025. The results can be checked on the regional websites of the Railway Recruitment Board as well as on rrb.gov.in and indianrailways.gov.in/railwayboard. The Railway Recruitment Board will also release category-wise cutoffs for various positions.

The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 are 40% for General and Economically Weaker Sections, 30% for OBC and SC, and 25% for ST. There were 100 questions in the exam, each carrying one mark. There is negative marking, with one-third of a mark deducted for each wrong answer.

Further stages of the recruitment process include a Computer Based Test-2, Typing Skill Test, a Document Verification round and a Medical Test. “The candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed herein under have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the 2nd Stage CBT. The candidates have been shortlisted as per the merit in 1st stage CBT duly considering their order of preference for various posts. Candidates who are shortlisted for 2nd Stage CBT availing the reservation benefits of OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD and ExSM shall continue to be considered only against OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD and ExSM for all subsequent stages of recruitment process,” states the official notice.

Step 1 – First of all go to the regional website of RRB .

Step 2 – Click on ‘RRB NTPC-G 05/2024 Result Link’

Step 3 – Railway NTPC CBT 1 Result will be displayed on the screen

Step 4 – Find your roll number in RRB NTPC result PDF by pressing Ctrl+F

Step 5 – If your roll number is there in the result PDF , you will be included in the next round of the selection process

Step 6 – Download RRB NTPC Graduate Result PDF for future reference

The Railway Recruitment Board released the answer key for the RRB NTPC exam on September 15. RRB also opened a window for raising objections to the answer key, if any, until September 20.

This recruitment process aims to fill 8,113 vacancies. Among these, 1,736 vacancies are for the Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, 994 for Station Master, 3,144 for Goods Train Manager, 1,507 for Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and 732 for Senior Clerk cum Typist. Approximately 1.21 crore candidates applied for the RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment.
