2 shooter in Haryana, who fired at Bollywood actress Disha Patni’s house, was piled up in the encounter. Haryana STF, Delhi Police Special Cell and UP’s STF encountered them in Ghaziabad on Wednesday evening.

The miscreants were identified as Ravindra resident of village Kahani (Rohtak) and Arun resident Mayur Vihar (Sonipat). These were from the gang of Rohit Godara and Goldie Brar. Both had a reward of one lakh each.
After the encounter, the family of the deceased Arun, resident of Sonepat, has described the encounter as fake. Also demanded a high -level inquiry into the entire case. The family says that Arun was not so. He had called his friend from home and took him. He left home to go to Haridwar. However, the police killed him.

Mother Savita said that the son left home for Haridwar
- Arun was a patient of sugar: Rajendra Singh, a resident of Mayur Vihar in Sonepat, said that he has two sons Arun and Ankur. There are four daughters in the family and Ankur is married. Arun was a younger son. He was a patient of sugar for the last 5 years. His condition was such that the sugar level used to reach 700 to 800. He depended on insulin and medicines.
- Causes of illness did not send work out: Arun studied up to 12th from Indian school in Sonepat. The family did not send him to work outside due to illness. About a year ago, the family started dairy work. Arun started trading milk by placing three to four animals.
- Had left for Haridwar, saying: Savita told that on Wednesday, her son had left for Haridwar at around 3 pm. The mother had told the son- to come early, you can not live without you. Crying after the news of son Arun’s death, Savita said-Ram-Laxman (Ankur-Arun) has separated the pair. My son will never come now, show his son once.
- Arun said, I do not do anything wrong: Savita said that her son never fought with anyone. He was very kind. On Thursday, Arun was leaving to go to Haridwar, so the mother asked- is going with a friend? To this, Arun replied- Mother, don’t ask this, you know I do not do anything wrong, I will return home till tomorrow morning.

Made a house with a loan Mother Savita told that six months ago, she has built a new house by taking a loan of Rs 10-12 lakh, but she has not been able to get even the door-windows. Electricity connections and fittings in the house are incomplete. Arun used to tell his mother that he would work hard. After selling the village house, he bought a plot in the city and some buffaloes also had to be sold. Daughters’ jewels were mortgaged. The elder son Ankur works in Amazon and is married. Father Rajendra Singh is a security guard in the factory, while mother Savita first cleaned utensils in people’s homes and now works in the factory.

Crying father Rajendra Singh said that two policemen came home on Wednesday night and took information from the family. When the family asked, the policemen said that they had come for verification of their son’s job. But at around 11:30 pm, when he received the news of his son’s death, weeds were mourned in the family. On hearing the news of the son’s death, Rajendra’s mouth morsel fell down. At first the parents did not believe and said that Arun has gone to Haridwar and will come back. But when I saw the picture of the encounter in the mobile phone, Rajendra recognized and said- Yes, this is my son. Crying Rajendra kept saying that his son can never do wrong. He is confident that the son has been unjust. The family says that Arun was seduced by a friend.
The family is crying in a bad state and no one is ready to believe that their son has done the wrong thing.
Ravindra has a criminal record Police said the two criminals were wanted in the firing incident at actress Disha Patni’s house in the civil line area of Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh on 12 September 2025. The reward was also announced on his arrest. Investigation revealed that there were five serious cases against Ravindra in various police stations of Haryana. On 20 December 2024, he tried to free the criminal Ravi Jagasi by attacking a police escort guard in Fatehabad. In this case, he is booked under serious sections and Arms Act. According to police sources, Arun’s criminal records are being investigated. Initial investigation has revealed that he was associated with notorious criminals and has been suspected in many cases.
