Starlink is waiting for the approval of in-space to operate satellite internet service in India
Ilon Musk’s company Starlink has received approval to start a high -speed satellite internet trial in India. According to Moneycontrol report, the telecom department has given the satellite a provisional spectrum for trial. This spectrum allows the company to run trials for 6 months.
The company will now build base stations at 10 places in India, which will have a Mumbai main center. Apart from this, Starlink has also sought a license to import the Equipment, including the landing station hardware.
This hardware will connect the satellite signal to the land network. Security and technical standard will be examined during the trial, after which Starlinks can launch high speed satellite internet official.

The government has placed strict security conditions in front of the Starlink. The company will have to store all the data in India and the intelligence agencies will have to provide the facility to share the data. The details (name, address, location) of user terminals will have to be given to the telecom department, and the entire report will have to be submitted when the trial is over.
