The Sensex is trading at 80,000 levels on the third trading day of the week today i.e. on Wednesday, September 3 to 80,000. The Nifty also has a decline of 50 points, it is at 24,550.
Sensex has a rise in 19 shares out of 30 and a decline in 11. The shares of Mahindra, Jomato and Tata Steel are more than 1%. Bajaj Finance, Infosys and ICICI Bank shares are 1% below.
There is a decline in 30 of the 50 shares of the Nifty, an increase in 20. NSE’s metal, pharma and banking index are boom. IT, Media, FMCG are below.
Mixed business in global market
- In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei was trading at 42,055 below 0.60% and Korea’s Kospi climbed 0.35% to 3,183.
- Hong Kong’s Hangseng index was trading at 25,388 below 0.42% and China’s Shanghai Composite fell 0.96% to 3,820.
- On September 2, the US Dow Jones fell 0.55% to close at 45,296. Nasdaq Composite declined 0.82% and S&P 500 declined by 0.69%.
On 2 September Domestic investors bought shares worth ₹ 2,550 crore
- On 2 September, Foreign Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth 1,159.48 crores in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 2,549.51 crore.
- In August, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹ 46,902.92 crore. At the same time, domestic investors made net purchases of Rs 94,828.55 crore during this period.
The market fell 206 points yesterday
The Sensex fell 206 points to close at 80,157 on the second trading day of the week i.e. on Tuesday, 2 September. In the morning, it had a rise of about 400 points. The Nifty also declined by 45 points, it closed at 24,579 levels.
15 out of 30 of the Sensex declined and 15 declined. Today, IT, banking and auto shares declined. Energy and FMCG shares increased at the same time.
