In some, his sentence has been canceled, but he has not been released. Imran Khan was arrested on August 5 last year after being convicted in the Toshakhana corruption case. After this, he has been kept in jail for many other cases as well.
Arrest made in Toshakhana case
After dismissing Imran Khan’s conviction in the Iddat (un-Islamic marriage) case earlier this month, the court had ruled that Imran should be released from jail if he was not wanted in any other case. But within hours, he was arrested along with his 49-year-old wife Bushra in the Toshakhana case.
