Out of the 8 arrested terrorists, 5 are residents of Bhagal village of Palanpur taluka.
Gujarat ATS had arrested eight terrorists associated with terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) from Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Investigation has revealed that all of them are residents of Gujarat. Of these, 5 are residents of Bhagal village of Palanpur taluka. On Monday, ATS reached their house in Bhagal village with these five.
Because, 5 out of 8 terrorists arrested are residents of this village. Mudashir Ghaziwala and Ahmed Ghaziwala are cousins. ATS is investigating by taking all the concerned people along and it is feared that there may be even bigger revelations in this investigation.
Literature and other items seized from terrorists’ house During a search operation at the house of terrorists associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bhagal village of Palanpur taluka, Gujarat ATS team has seized objectionable literature related to the terrorist organization. ATS officials also seized two big bags filled with material from the house of one of the terrorists.

The five terrorists were taken to their homes one by one.

Terrorists were caught from Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh on July 3.
Gujarat ATS has arrested eight terrorists associated with terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) from Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh on July 3. Everyone has been caught from different districts. The age of two of them is 18 and 19 years.
All of them were working to create an active network of JeM in Gujarat so that it could carry out terrorist activities. ATS has started interrogating them.
After receiving the information, ATS formed 5 different teams and launched a major operation. ATS teams arrested 8 people from Banaskantha, Mehsana, Navsari, Patan in Gujarat and Dewas in Madhya Pradesh.
Investigation revealed that all of them were residents of Gujarat and were working on the instructions of a Pakistani handler.
First two accused were arrested: DIG
Gujarat ATS DIG Sunil Joshi said that first two accused were arrested and later six other accused were arrested. A lot of literature and flags were also recovered from the accused. A lot of information has been obtained from the mobile phones seized from the accused.
Was in contact with a handler named Abdullah Saheb of Pakistan: DIG
DIG Sunil Joshi further said that all were in contact with a handler named Abdullah Saheb from Pakistan through social media. On the instructions of the handler, he was making efforts to establish a strong network in Gujarat. He had also received Rs 3 lakh from a person. He was living in a madrasa in Patan in Gujarat. Literature and some pamphlets have also been seized from the madrasa.
An organization named Tanzeem was formed to recruit members.
DIG Sunil Joshi said- The accused had formed an organization named Tanzeem in Gujarat for the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM). Presently, 8 members had joined Tanzeem and were brainwashing other members to join their area. Investigation has also revealed that they were translating Jaish-e-Mohammed’s terrorist literature into Gujarati and propagating its ideology at the local level.
