Chetna, a 3-year-old girl, fell into a 700 feet deep borewell on Monday (December 23) while playing in Kiratpura area of Kotputli. The girl is trapped at a depth of 150 feet for 17 hours.

The accident happened at around 1.50 pm on Monday afternoon in Badiyali ki Dhani of Kotputli. Since Monday afternoon, teams of NDRF, SDRF and district administration are engaged in joint rescue operation.
On Tuesday morning, ASP said that the girl’s neck below was stuck in the mud. Problems are arising due to less space. At the same time, oxygen is being supplied through pipes to Chetna Chaudhary in the borewell from Monday.
The movement of the girl is visible in the camera. The sound of his crying has also been recorded. Due to lack of space in the borewell, the girl could not be given anything to eat or drink.

The first attempt at rescue operation failed
The first attempt to rescue the girl using ring rod and umbrella technique failed at around 1 am on Monday night. NDRF Senior Commandant Yogesh Meena told that the ring was inserted inside the borewell to trap the girl. It got entangled in the girl’s clothes. That ring could not hold the girl’s body. In such a situation, the ring has been taken out again due to the fear of losing the grip midway. Now we will correct the ring and put it back in.

Girl Chetna’s mother Dholi Devi has been crying continuously since the accident. When Dainik Bhaskar team reached to talk to him, he folded his hands and made a touching appeal to CM Bhajanlal Sharma. She just kept saying again and again that CM Bhajanlal ji, save my daughter.
The medical team from Kotputli has reached the spot with oxygen cylinders. Oxygen is being supplied to the girl by putting a pipe in the borewell.
NDRF and SDRF teams remained busy in the rescue of the girl till late night.
Teams are also adopting indigenous jugaad for Chetna’s rescue. At the same time, efforts are also being made to bring him out through modern techniques.
