In the video and caption shared on Instagram, Kangana recalled the old stories of the legal battle with Hrithik Roshan, but linked it to the happy life of 2026 and said that that period has now become meaningless.

Kangana wrote, “Why is everyone suddenly remembering 2016? The pace of my career kept increasing from the beginning till the end. After blockbuster hits like ‘Queen’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, I had become the highest paid actress. But in January 2016, a colleague sent a controversial legal notice, which shook the industry.”

She further wrote, “Success became poison, life hell. People divided into groups, legal battles started. If I had known ten years ago that in 2026 I would be eating carbohydrates in every meal, laughing a lot and all the drama of 2016 would prove to be in vain, I would not have been so sad. Thankfully, we are in 2026!”
