Along with this, the doors of Lokpal Laxman Temple will also be closed. The entire area is covered with snow due to snowfall in the recent past.
Last prayer of the year today
The last Ardas of this year will be performed today at the holy place of Sikhs, Hemkund Sahib. After this the doors will be closed for the winter season. A large number of devotees have reached Ghangaria to witness the closing of the doors. The process of closing the doors will start after the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib at 10 am.
Sardar Seva Singh, manager of Gurudwara Govind Ghat, said that the entire Gurudwara has been specially decorated on the occasion of closing of the doors. Seva programs will also be organized during this period, in which band teams from Punjab and other places will also participate. Devotees from different states of India and also from foreign countries have been arriving on this occasion.
Shri Badrinath Dham situated on the banks of Alaknanda River in Chamoli.
The doors of Shri Badrinath Dham will be closed on 25th November at 2:56 pm.
Apart from this, the doors of Baba Kedarnath Dham will be closed on the festival of Bhaiya Dooj on 23rd October. The doors of Yamunotri Dham will be closed for winter on 23rd October at 12.30 pm. The doors of Gangotri Dham will be closed as per law for 6 months of winter period on 22nd October on Annakoot festival in Abhijeet Muhurta at 11.36 am.
