Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash Yatra, one of the most difficult religious pilgrimages of North India, will run from 10 to 23 July. For this, online registration portal will open soon. The successful conduct and arrangements of this yatra to be held in Nirmand of Ani assembly constituency of Kullu district.

This meeting was presided over by Trust Chairman and DC Kullu through video conferencing. DC directed to complete all preparations before the start of the yatra. In this journey, devotees of Lord Bhole from all over North India come to see him.
SDM Nirmand and Vice President of Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra Trust Jagdeep Singh Kanwar said that during the yatra, officials of different departments will be assigned different responsibilities. Special deployment of medical, revenue, police, forest and rescue teams will be ensured.
Last year, the road to Shrikhand got damaged due to heavy monsoon rains.
Instructions to Jal Shakti Department to arrange water at all stops
Instructions have been given to the Jal Shakti Department to ensure water arrangements at all the stops. At the same time, the Block Development Office and Forest Department have been asked to complete the repair of the damaged roads of Shrikhand Yatra soon.
SDM Kanwar also told that it is believed that before leaving for Shrikhand Yatra, the pilgrims take blessings from Goddess Mata Chalashni, the presiding deity of the area located in Jaon. To revive this tradition, the administration will put up sign boards and notice boards to inform the pilgrims about darshan.

A few days before the journey, the team went to Shrikhand to take stock of the route.
Divided the travel route into 6 sectors
Vice President and SDM Nirmand Dr. Jagdeep Singh Kanwar informed that this time the Yatra has been divided into 6 sectors. Sector Magistrate Camp will be established between the Yatra route Bagipul Jaon and base camps will be established at Sinhagad, Thathadu, Kunsha, Bhim Dwari and Parvati Bagh.
Founder member of Shrikhand Yatra Trust and Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Milk Federation Buddhi Singh Thakur, Trust member Govind Prasad Sharma and officials of various departments were present in the meeting organized regarding Shrikhand Yatra.
