Actress Mouni Roy has expressed her displeasure on social media over the misbehavior by the audience during an event held in Karnal, Haryana. The actress told through Instagram Story that the behavior of some people during the event was very embarrassing and uncomfortable. Mouni writes – “Recently, there was an event in Karnal and I was very disappointed with the behavior of the guests, especially the behavior of those two uncles who were of grandfather’s age. As soon as the event started, when I started walking towards the stage, the uncle and all the male members of the family put their hands on my waist to get the photo clicked. Which I did not like and when I said, Sir, please remove your hands. On the stage, there is an even more interesting story. Two uncles standing right in front of me made obscene comments. They were making obscene gestures and abusing. I realized this and politely told them not to do so, on which I went towards the exit of the stage in the middle of the performance but immediately came back and completed my performance. The actress also said that despite all these actions, neither the family members nor the organizers removed those people from there. Mouni described this incident as humiliating and mentally disturbing. He wrote that if this can happen to him, then it can be imagined how difficult the situation will be for new girls in the industry. He also demanded strict action from the administration against such behaviour. In another post, Mouni told that the stage was at a height and some people were making videos from below in the wrong angle. When stopped, they abused him. The actress said that artists go as guests on happy occasions, but this kind of behavior is intolerable. Talking about the work front, Mouni Roy was seen in ‘The Bhootani’ with Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Singh last year. After this, she was also seen in the espionage thriller Salakar released on OTT.
