‘The stock market is witnessing a rise today i.e. on 19th August. The Sensex is trading at the level of 80,650 with a gain of more than 200 points. Nifty is also up by about 100 points. It is trading at the level of 24,650.
Mixed trading in Asian markets
- Mixed trading is being seen in Asian markets. Japan’s Nikkei index has gained 0.79%. China’s Shanghai Composite has fallen by 0.53%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng has gained 1.07%.
- There was a rise in the US market on Friday. Dow Jones closed at 40,659, up 96.70 (0.24%) points. Whereas NASDAQ closed at 17,631, up 37.22 (0.21%) points.
Interarch Building Products IPO will open from today
The Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Interarch Building Products Limited will open today (August 19). Investors will be able to bid for shares till August 21. The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 26. Read full news

Earlier, on Friday, August 16, the stock market saw a rise. The Sensex closed at 80,436 with a gain of 1,330 points. Nifty also rose by about 400 points and closed at 24,541.
