She did her early education from Hindi Medium School in Hyderabad. Till the age of 16, he did not know how to speak and write English properly. But later he learned English and then graduated from the Air Force Gold Jubilee Institute, New Delhi. It was during this time that Sushmita got involved in modeling.

After becoming Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen entered the world of acting in 1996 with Mahesh Bhatt’s film Dastak. On the very first day of shooting of the debut film, the film’s director Mahesh Bhatt reprimanded Sushmita.

Actually, due to not belonging to a film family and having no acting experience, Sushmita had initially rejected the film offer. But when Mahesh Bhatt explained it to him, he accepted the offer. Despite this, he did not know acting at all. She was very nervous when the shooting started and was not able to get the same shot right despite retakes again and again. Mahesh Bhatt told in many interviews that when he met Sushmita Sen for the first time, she did not have any special qualities to become a Bollywood heroine. She was completely different from all the other actresses.

Earlier she was attracted towards Salman, but did not like her after coming into films.

Sushmita Sen was very fond of Salman Khan in her childhood. Actually, when Salman’s film Maine Pyar Kiya was released, Sushmita liked Salman’s look so much that she became crazy about him. Such was her madness that she used to spend her entire pocket money in buying posters of Salman. Not only this, the family members did not remove the posters, hence she used to complete her homework on time.

In those days, Maine Pyar Kiya was released, so I also had a picture of that pigeon from the film, because it was a part of Salman Khan’s film. My parents always used to say that if homework was not done on time, they would remove the posters. So I always did my homework on time, because those posters were sacred to me. Mithun was accused of bad touch, the director was nervous

Mithun Chakraborty and Sushmita Sen were seen together in the 2006 film Chingari. During the shooting, there was a lot of commotion on the set regarding a scene, due to which Sushmita started crying a lot, due to which even the director got nervous.

Sushmita played the role of a sex worker in the film. She had to shoot a bold scene with Mithun Chakraborty and she was not comfortable, but it was necessary to do the scene as per the demand of the script. There were many re-takes while filming this scene.

Mehboob refused to lip sync my song

Sushmita Sen danced on the song ‘Mehboob Mere’ in Karisma Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan’s film Fiza. This song became very popular. There was a line in the song Aa Garmi Le Mere Seene Se but Sushmita refused to lip sync this line.

Govinda rejected wife number 1 because of Sushmita, also returned the signing amount
