Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput first met on the sets of the popular TV show Pavitra Rishta. While working together, both of them started liking each other. The onscreen pairing of both was also very much liked. After coming into a relationship in the year 2010, Sushant Singh Rajput had publicly proposed the actress to Ankita in the Nach Baliye show. However, after getting offers from Bollywood films, Sushant left the show Pavitra Rishta.

At one time the news of Ankita and Sushant’s marriage was also in the headlines. Both of them had talked about getting married soon in many interviews. However, both of them broke up at the end of 2016. After separating from Ankita, Sushant was dating Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, while Ankita Lokhande dated businessman Vicky Jain.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s body was found in his Bandra home on 14 June 2020. At that time he was living in a live-in relationship with Rhea Chakraborty, although Rhea had left his house a few days before his death. Some time after Sushant’s death, Ankita Lokhande married Vicky Jain.
