Actor Sunil Shetty recently became a part of a media program organized in Delhi. There the actor talked openly about his fitness and films. During the session, he was asked about the offers he received from the South Film Industry. In response, the actor told that he gets offers but he rejects them.

Actually, Sunil had attended the public session at Lallantop Adda 2025 organized in Delhi. Here, on the offers he gets from the South Film Industry, he said- ‘I get offers from the South. But sadly, you will see this trend that we get offers for negative roles. They want to show the Hindi hero as strong as the villain. They say it is good for both the screen and the audience. And that’s the only thing I don’t like.

Sunil has worked in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu language films from 2001 to 2025. However, now he rejects most of the offers.

Explaining the reason for being a part of South Superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Darbar’, the actor said – ‘I did the film with Rajini sir. I wanted to do that just because I wanted to mark my bucket list. I wanted to work with Amit ji, Rajni sir and other favorites or legends of mine, so I worked in Darbar.

Talking about his recently released Tulu film, the actor said- ‘I did a small Tulu film, which is doing really well. The name of this film is Jai. I am getting a lot of love for this film, like I got for Balwaan. Today, there is no language barrier. If there’s a barrier, it’s probably because of the content. If your content is good, it will overcome all obstacles.

Rajinikanth starrer film Darbar was released in the year 2020. Sunil had a cameo in it.

Talking about Sunil’s upcoming films, he will soon be seen in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. In this, there are many other actors like Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta along with her. Apart from this, the shooting of his ‘Hera Phera 3’ is scheduled to begin from February or March of 2026.
