Music lovers got a special experience on Friday at Mumbai’s Neeta Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) Grand Theater. Singer Shaan paid a grand tribute to Kishore Kumar through the program ‘Forever Kishore Shaan Se’.
The event was presented by NOT Talent and Event Management Namrata Gupta Khan and Rabbani Mustafa Khan. This program was filled with art and bliss.
Namrata and Rabbani are from the family of Guru Padmavibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. Namrata Ghulam Mustafa’s daughter -in -law and Rabbani are their sons.

Let me tell you that Shan started the program with his hit songs ‘Main Hoon Don’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’.
He then sang Kishore Kumar’s songs. He sang songs like ‘Tum Bin Jaun Kahan’, ‘Mere Dil Mein Kya Hai’, ‘Tera I am first ke hai naata koi’ and ‘say’.
From romantic songs like ‘Dil Kya Kare’ to ‘Hall Kaisa Hai Janab Ka’ and ‘Khullam Khulla’ (with Nihira Joshi), a long list of about 70 songs brought alive the color of Kishore Da’s talent.
Shaan paid tribute to Zubin Garg
During the program, Shan paid tribute to him by singing ‘Yeh Jeevan Hai’, remembering singer Jubin Garg, who was late on Friday.
Shaan’s son Mahi came on stage and sang with him ‘O Mere Dil Ke Chain’. The audience played tremendous applause. At the same time, Kishore Kumar’s son Sumit Kumar also came on stage in the program. Shaan sang songs like ‘Sarah Jaan Haseen’s Deewana’ with him.

Kishore Kumar’s son Sumit is a playback singer and music composer.
This evening was not limited to music only. Shaan’s warmth and Hajirjwabi also won the hearts of the audience.
He said, “The first step of every singer is inspired by Kishore Da somewhere.”
In a funny manner, Shan laughed everyone by adding the habit of waiting for WhatsApp Blue Tick to Kishore Da’s song ‘Intaha Ho Wait Ki’.
He also mentioned Kishore Kumar’s song ‘Joe think, whatever he wanted’ and told how he was far ahead of time. Today, he showed ideas like Kemanifestation and Arms in his songs years ago. The program ended with ‘Chalte Chala’.

On the success of the program, organizers Namrata Gupta Khan and Rabbani Mustafa Khan said,
We are very happy that the show was so beautiful. The entire hall showed Kishore Da’s magical tunes and appeared. This was a very emotional experience for us. We are thankful to Shaan that he put his soul in every song, and also of the audience who accepted this tribute with so much love.
