Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has openly reacted to the trolling going on over his look shown in the teaser of his upcoming war film ‘Battle of Galwan’. Some users on social media criticized Salman’s momentary glance by calling it a “romantic glance”, but Salman laughed it off and clarified that the gesture was not of any romance but of a colonel’s serious thinking. Salman recently recreated that scene from the teaser during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) match and said, “Now some people find this a romantic look, but I am a colonel in the film bhaiya, this is the look of a colonel who encourages the team and the soldiers.” He also joked that he could do the same look more if he wanted, but there is no “romantic connotation” to it and the outrage or criticism doesn’t affect him. The teaser of Salman Khan’s war film ‘Battle of Galwan’ was launched on his birthday on 27th December. The first track of the film ‘Mathrubhoomi’ has been launched on January 24 itself. The film ‘Battle of Galwan’ is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict and will see Salman Khan star in a serious, inspirational role. Actress Chitraganda Singh will be seen opposite Salman Khan in this film directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Besides, many new faces will also be seen in the film. Salman will be seen in the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu in the film. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 17 April 2026.
