The video of an impostor, who impersonated Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and made people bow his head, is going viral on social media. Which was first condemned by Sri Akal Takht Sahib’s Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh and now a Sikh social worker has complained about it to DS.

Giving information, Punjab BC Cell President and social worker Sarabjit Singh Sonu Jandiala said that in Madhya Pradesh, an impersonator has tried to look exactly like Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji by impersonating him. Kamandal has been caught just like him and people are paying obeisance to him.

He said that in the video going viral on social media, the impersonator is wearing the robe of Baba Nanak and he is sitting equal to Sri Guru Granth Sahib, which is completely wrong. The accused is hurting the sentiments of Sikhs and every section of the society. He said that he strongly condemns the mischief of such imposters and demands strictest action against such people.
He has given a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar demanding action in this regard. He said that if this video had been made in Punjab then Punjabis would have been taught a lesson here, but at present a complaint has been lodged against it to the administrative authorities.
Said that if legal action is not taken in this matter then struggle will be fought. Regarding this video, Takht Damdama Sahib’s Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has also criticized this.
