Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 18 are up and 7 are down. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 32 are up and 18 are down. Among the NSE sectoral indices, the auto sector is the most bullish.
Asian markets fell today
- There is a decline in the Asian market today. Japan’s Nikkei has fallen by 0.24% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng has fallen by 0.57%. China’s Shanghai Composite has fallen by 0.26% and Korea’s Kospi has fallen by 1.24%.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth ₹1,371.79 crore on August 23. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) also bought shares worth ₹2,971.80 crore.
- On Thursday, the Dow Jones of the US market fell 0.43% and closed at 40,712. The Nasdaq also fell 1.67% and closed at 17,619. The S&P500 closed at 5,570 with a fall of 0.89%.

Today is the last day to bid for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Orient Technologies. This IPO opened on 21 August. The market was bullish yesterday
Earlier, yesterday i.e. on 22nd August, the stock market witnessed a rise. The Sensex closed at 81,053 with a gain of 147 points. At the same time, the Nifty also rose by 41 points, it closed at 24,811.
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 18 rose and 12 fell. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 27 rose and 23 fell. Tata Motors was the top Sensex loser.
