A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh. Here some youths brutally tied a young man to a tree and beat him with sticks and belts. After the video of the beating went viral on social media, the police arrested four accused and sent them to jail.
This incident took place in Hasanpur Luhari village of Police Station Bhawan area. Sachin, a resident of Tanki Mohalla, was called outside the village on Tuesday afternoon to collect a bag of berries, where about half a dozen boys attacked him. It was seen in the video that a young man tied Sachin with a belt and another young man beat him with sticks and kicks. During this, Sachin requests him to leave.
The young man was tied to a tree and beaten with sticks.
After the beating, the accused apologized to Sachin. Sachin told that he did not know the reason for the fight. He works in Gurugram and had come home for a few days. The youth had threatened to kill her if she informed the family or the police about the incident.
Police arrested four accused
After the video went viral, the family members came to know about the incident and took him to the police station. Police registered a case against Suraj, Ankur, Leelu, Harsh and Chhota Bhole. Police station Bhawan said that action has been taken on the basis of the video and four accused have been arrested and sent to jail.
