Explosion in firecracker factory in China: 21 killed, 61 injured
21 people died and 61 were injured in an explosion in a firecracker factory in Liuyang city of Hunan province of China. The accident happened around 5 pm on Monday evening.
According to state media, the explosion occurred at the Liuyang Huasheng Fireworks Manufacturing and Display Co., located in Guandu Township.
After the blast, emergency and fire rescue teams were immediately sent to the spot. The rescue team took the injured to the hospital and started efforts to control the fire.
21 people lost their lives in this accident, while 61 injured people are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
