A 60-meter high tower suddenly collapsed on Thursday during the demolition of an old thermal power plant in Ulsan city of South Korea. One person died in the accident, while six laborers are trapped under the debris. The rescue team evacuated two people safely, but one of the injured died in hospital.
According to officials, the rescue operation has been stopped for the time being due to the debris being unstable. South Korean President Lee Jae-myong has directed all agencies to speed up relief work with full force to rescue the stranded people.
