US President Donald Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan has reached the second phase. Trump has announced the formation of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) for the administration and reconstruction of Gaza. It has been described as an important part of the 20-point roadmap for long-term peace, reconstruction and economic revival in Gaza.

This committee will work under the leadership of Dr. Ali Sha’th. Dr. Sha’ath is a technocrat administrator. According to US officials, Dr. Sha’ath will be responsible for restoring basic public services (such as water, electricity, health, and education), strengthening civil institutions, and stabilizing everyday life in Gaza.

At the same time, an executive board of the Board of Peace has been formed under the chairmanship of President Trump. This board has been formed to implement the scheme. Prominent members of the board include Marco Rubio (Secretary of State), Steve Witkoff (Special Envoy), Jarad Kushner (Special Envoy), Sir Tony Blair (former British Prime Minister), among others.
