Britain’s Prince Harry became emotional during his testimony in London’s High Court on Wednesday. He said that the British media made his wife Megan Markle’s life ‘hell’. After several hours of hearing, he came out holding back tears.

According to the report of news agency AP, this case is related to the ongoing case against the publisher of Daily Mail newspaper.

Prince Harry said in the High Court that the media has been continuously interfering in his personal life. He alleged that journalists collected his personal information through illegal means instead of legitimate sources.

Harry said in court, “They are still after me. They have made my wife’s life a complete hell.”

Seven celebrities, including Prince Harry, have sued Associated Newspapers Ltd, publisher of the Daily Mail. It is alleged that in the last 20 years, illegal methods were adopted to collect personal information.

The publisher has rejected all the allegations and said that the disputed news was based on legitimate sources. This trial is expected to last for about nine weeks.

Harry said that because of the constant media attacks, harassment and racist articles, he and Megan decided to leave royal responsibilities and move to America in 2020.

A Bangladesh court will next hear the treason case registered against Sheikh Hasina on February 9. This matter is related to an online meeting ‘Jai Bangla Brigade’ held in December 2024.

It is alleged that in December 2024, Sheikh Hasina and hundreds of Awami League leaders had participated in an online meeting of a group named ‘Jai Bangla Brigade’.

In the meeting, a conspiracy was hatched to topple the interim government led by Mohammad Yunus. There are a total of 286 accused in the case, most of whom are absconding.

Sheikh Hasina left the country and came to India on 5 August 2024 after the student movement. In November 2025, a Bangladeshi special tribunal sentenced him to death on charges of crimes against humanity and other cases.

Trump withdraws tariff threat on European countries; Framework of agreement decided with NATO Chief on Greenland

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he will no longer impose 10% tariff on 8 European countries. This tariff was to come into effect from February 1. Trump took this decision after talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Davos on Greenland and the Arctic region.

Trump said that the two leaders have decided on the framework for a future deal regarding Greenland and the entire Arctic region. This will benefit America and all NATO members.
