Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra died on November 24 at the age of 89. Born in Sahnewal, Ludhiana, Dharmendra was the son of a government school headmaster, whom the entire country knows today as He-Man.

The house where Dharmendra spent his childhood in Sahnewal is still the same. However, he has sold his ancestral house and a new house has been built there. Dharmendra House is written outside it.
Dharmendra’s neighbors say that Dharmendra had come here on Bhaidooj. We always went to government school. Also used to drink lassi in the nearby camp.
