The Indian Navy is now searching for the missing plane of Alchemist Aviation. The Indian Navy team has reached Chandil Dam. The search operation has been started. The team has brought with it four hydrosalers machines and other necessary equipment.

Earlier on Wednesday, the NDRF team worked hard for 8 hours at Chandil Dam. Even after this, the NDRF’s hands remained empty and the plane could not be found. After which the district administration sent a letter to the Union Minister of State for Defense and MP Sanjay Seth and requested the Navy for cooperation. A team of 15 people from the Navy reached Ranchi late on Wednesday night by a special plane from Visakhapatnam.
Here on Thursday morning, the body of trainee pilot Shubhrodeep Dutta was recovered from Chandil Dam. With the recovery of the body of the trainee pilot, it has become clear that the plane had crashed after falling into the dam.

The trainee aircraft is missing since Tuesday
The trainee aircraft that took off from Jamshedpur’s Sonari Airport at 10.30 am on Tuesday went missing 50 minutes after takeoff. The Alchemist Aviation Limited trainee aircraft was being flown by an instructor and Jeet Shatru Anand and a trainee pilot Shubhrodeep Dutta. The aircraft was taken off from the air traffic control at 11:20 am. After this, there was no trace of the aircraft. At around 3 pm, people of Patamda informed about a plane crash near Amda hill. After this, the local police contacted the district police control room and the local administration contacted Tata Steel. After this, Tata Steel’s helicopter left from Sonari Airport for search and rescue. On Tuesday, the district administration kept searching at its own level, but nothing could be found.
Search conducted in Chandil Dam based on information from local people
After a day-long search on Tuesday, Rusu Manjhi and Tapan Hansda, residents of Papiyaldih village near Chandil Dam, informed about the plane sinking in the dam. Based on this information, the district administration along with a 16-member team of NDRF started searching in Chandil Dam.
The search operation started at around 10 am on Wednesday. During this, the NDRF team used all its techniques. The administration also implemented the measures suggested by local divers and people, but the result was zero.

Villagers said- the plane got stuck in the dam
Piyaldih village is just opposite to the boating ghat of Chandil Dam. Two youths of this village, Rusu Manjhi and Tapan Hasda, saw the missing plane crash on Tuesday. Both the youths said that when they informed the villagers about this incident, they stopped them from spreading rumours.
When the search for the plane began in the evening, the villagers believed and informed the district administration. According to Tapan Hasda, on Tuesday he had gone to the dam with some youth of the village to take a bath. At around 11:20 in the morning, a plane was seen flying over the dam. The plane came from Neemdih and was hovering at a height of about 200 feet in the water.
When the plane turned to go back to Neemdih, the sound of the engine stopped. Then a loud noise started coming from the engine and the plane started gaining height. Meanwhile, the plane came down rapidly and sank into the water.

The Indian Navy team arrived on Wednesday night. The search for the missing plane has been started in Chandil Dam from today.

Haryana businessman KD Singh, who was a Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand and West Bengal, started Alchemist Aviation from Sonari Airport in 2010. KD Singh had many aircraft and was associated with this sector. KD Singh himself operated Aviation from Sonari Airport for many years. Later, he sold it when it incurred losses. Sonari’s Manohar Pal, who was PS (Administration Secretary) of former Jharkhand CM Shibu Soren, bought Aviation. After Manohar Pal’s death, his son Mrinal Pal is handling Aviation.
Alchemist Aviation provides training
Alchemist Aviation is currently being run by Mrinal Pal. This company has 5 aircrafts, which are used for pilot training. There is one two-seater and four four-seater aircrafts. Recently, Alchemist has ordered a 6-seater aircraft.
