After taking retirement from International T20 and Test cricket, cricketer Rohit Sharma will soon be seen hosting a TV show. This show named ‘The Rohit Sharma Show’ will also be streamed on Sony Liv. Recently a teaser of the show has come.
Sony has not yet shared much information about the format of the show. However, it is listed as a reality show on Sony’s preview page.
According to SportsYaari, this show will be the Indian adaptation of America’s famous show ‘Family Feud’, which is hosted by Steve Harvey.
In the teaser, Rohit is seen telling the cameraman from which angle he should be shot.
Shooting of the show may start in September
This will not be a quiz show but a game show, in which two families will participate. Its shooting may start in September, while the show may go on air in October.
Rohit will work on this project for about six months. During this period, one episode will be aired every week and the show may run till February 2027.
Earlier in May, a promo related to the show was also released, in which Rohit Sharma is seen interacting with his supporters. During this, fans demand him to repeat his famous dialogue, ‘No one will roam in the garden.’
Rohit looks a little uncomfortable with this repeated demand of the fans and walks away from there. This glimpse of the show indicates that the audience will get to see a different style of Rohit outside the field.
Has appeared in advertisements of many big brands
Even though Rohit will be working in a TV show for the first time, he has been coming in front of the camera for many years. He has appeared in commercials of big brands like Adidas, Jio, CEAT, Thums Up, Oral-B, Bournvita, Max Life Insurance and BharatPe.
Apart from this, he has appeared twice in ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, in which he entertained the audience with his witty style and shared many stories related to cricket.

Rohit Sharma’s cricket career It is noteworthy that Rohit Sharma is among the most successful batsmen and captains of Indian cricket. Rohit made his debut in international cricket in 2007. He scored three double centuries in ODIs, in which his innings of 264 runs is a world record. He scored five centuries in the 2019 ODI World Cup. Rohit has so far scored 11,895 runs in ODI cricket.
