Recently Deepika Padukone had organized a special fan meet session for her fans in Mumbai. During this, the actress met 50 fans from across the country. In this session, fans asked Deepika a lot of questions and she also answered them all.

During the session, the actress was asked when will she be seen in a romantic comedy film? To this he replied- ‘I have full hope that very soon.’ As you all know, this is my favorite genre. Both as an audience and as an actress.

I think the current environment… the audience wants to see something different. But if so many of you want to see a romantic comedy, then I am sure a large section of the public wants the same.

As soon as Deepika said this, a fan took the name of Hrithik Roshan. The host of the session conducted a poll among the fans present there on who should Deepika work with in a romantic comedy… Hrithik Roshan, Shahrukh Khan or her husband Ranveer Singh.

Fans cheered the names of Shahrukh and Hrithik but Ranveer Singh’s name got the most support.

During the conversation, Deepika talked about the possibility of sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor in a romantic comedy film and admitted that she is looking for good stories in this genre.

It is being rumored that Deepika may work with Ranbir Kapoor for Ayan Mukherjee’s next romantic film. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard yet.

He said- ‘This is something that I and my team are always searching for. We constantly look for movies of genres like drama, love story, romantic comedy, etc. But I think there are very few makers supporting this kind of content or writing these kind of films and TV shows at this time.

Deepika also asked her fans whether they would like to watch the romantic comedy film on OTT or in theatres. The fans said theater in response.

Then Deepika asked- ‘Will you be angry if I work on OTT?’ One fan replied- ‘You are made for the big screen only.’ Another fan jokingly said – ‘As long as your character does not die, everything is fine.’ Deepika laughs and says- ‘My mother also keeps saying the same.’

Let us tell you that in many of Deepika’s films, her characters die, which include her first film Om Shanti Om, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela, Padmavat and Jawan.

Deepika will soon be seen in Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘King’. Apart from this, she is working with Allu Arjun in Atlee’s film AA22xA6.
