Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that politics has now declined. Earlier there used to be good discussions and debates in Parliament. But now there is only noise and uproar in the House. Abuse each other, only then news is made.

Rijiju further said – Today we do not get votes even after doing good work. If you want to talk about something good. There is no one to listen to him. Rijiju said these things on October 2 in a program organized by Rashtriya Seva Bharti and Sant Ishwar Foundation.

Rijiju said- Today even the media does not cover good things. Talking about the falling level of politics, Rijiju said- When we were young MPs, there used to be a different atmosphere in the Parliament. Today, being the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, I keep thinking that there is so much noise today that no one is ready to listen to those who speak well.

Rijiju said that he would have asked other MPs about this also, they also believe the same. I will not take anyone’s name because this is not a political platform. But they say if you talk about good things the media doesn’t cover them. If you abuse and create ruckus in Parliament, only then it becomes news.

Union Minister said – we are not getting education as it should be. The Union Minister further said, I come from a border area. In my childhood there were no schools and roads there. We had no facilities. Teachers used to travel four-five kilometers on foot to come to our village.

But, today children study in convents and public schools. There are many schools where the standard of education is very good. But, I feel that there seems to be a lack somewhere in the kind of education that should be provided.

Rijiju said- social media has wrong effect on people Rijiju said that there are good people in the society who think about building the future of the country but there is also a section which does not contribute and influences the society in a wrong way. Nevertheless, he has a huge number of followers on social media. I keep wondering what is the point of following such people. Are they ideal people? He said that people should follow a person only after knowing about his life and thoughts.
