Actress Samantha Ruthaprabhu married popular filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1. After the announcement of the marriage, now Raj Nidimoru’s wife Shyamali Dey has reacted to it by sharing a post. She has told that she could not sleep last night and was very upset. However, she expressed her gratitude to the people who stood together in this difficult time and got angry at the media.
Shyamali Dey has written from her official Instagram account,
Heartfelt thanks to all of you for your love, good wishes, warmth and blessings. I spent the whole night without sleep, tossing and turning and thinking. Then I realized that if I don’t give thanks for all the good things coming in my life, it would be wrong and would also seem rude.
In the next post, she wrote, Forgiveness, hope, light, happiness, love, kindness, goodness and desire to do good work, I send these sentiments. As a friend said, what I am getting today is a return of that energy. I don’t have a team, any PR or staff that manages my page. I am replying to the messages myself, even though I am going through a situation that requires my full attention.
Shyamali further wrote, On November 9, my astrology guru was diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. Unfortunately, his cancer has spread to many parts of his body, including his brain. I am sure you will understand where my full attention should be at this time. So I have a humble request, please keep this place clean and positive. Thank you. Thank you very much. May every person and every living being be blessed with good health, happiness, prosperity and spirituality.
Shyamali Dey angry at media
Shyamali has also written the post while being angry at the media. He said,
Those looking for drama or breaking news won’t find anything here. Please go away from here. I’m not looking for attention, media coverage, exclusive interviews, brand promotions or paid partnerships, any of that. I’m not even trying to sell anything to anyone here.
Let us tell you that Samantha married Raj Nidimoru, director and producer of The Family Man and Citadel Honey Bunny, on December 1. Raj married Shyamali Dey in 2015, however the couple got divorced in 2022. After the news of Samantha’s marriage came, claims were also made that Raj had married Samantha without divorcing his first wife Shyamali, although these claims are false.

Samantha Ruthprabhu and Naga Chaitanya were seen together in the film Ye Maya Chesave. On the sets of this film, both of them started liking each other and got into a relationship. After being in a relationship for 7 years, Samantha married South star Naga Chaitanya in the year 2017. Both were married according to Hindu and Christian customs.
After marriage, Samantha changed her surname to Akkineni, however, in July 2021, she changed her name from Samantha Akkineni to Samantha Ruthprabhu. After this, news of their divorce started coming to the fore and both of them announced their divorce in October 2021.
