These days, Rashmika Mandanna is in the headlines for the news of her marriage with Vijay Deverakonda. But at this time one of his statements has created controversy. Rashmika’s statement regarding periods has started a controversy on social media.
Actually, recently the actress was seen in actor Jagapati Babu’s talk show. The actor asked Rashmika in the show whether she thinks men should experience periods? In response to this question, Rashmika says yes. The actress said- ‘Yes… I want her to get her periods at least once, so that she can know the pain and trauma.
Due to hormonal imbalance, we feel emotions which we cannot understand. And you cannot show this pressure on men because, no matter how much you explain, they do not understand the feeling. Therefore, if men get periods only once, then let them understand what the pain of periods is like.

While sharing her experience, Rashmika said, ‘I have such terrible pain during periods that I even fainted once because of it. I have done many tests and consulted doctors, but no one knows why this happens. Every month, I am surprised. God, why are you torturing me so much?
I think one can understand it only when he experiences it. That’s why I think men should have periods at least once.
After this statement of Rashmika came out, social media users are divided into two groups. Someone is supporting Rashmika’s statement and saying that she is making people aware. The other part is calling his comment unnecessary.
However, after the controversy, Rashmika gave clarification on social media and wrote – ‘This is why I am afraid of going to shows or interviews. What I said is being interpreted to mean something else. People just grab one line and ignore the whole thing.

Rashmika’s acting in her recently released film The Girlfriend is being appreciated.
