Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, who is running out of Team India due to injury, can return to competition from Ranji Trophy. However, it depends on their fitness.
TOI has claimed in a report that Pant has expressed a desire to play Ranji Trophy from DDCA President Rohan Jaitley. He has told Jaitley that he should fit from October 25 to the match in Delhi. However, Pant will have to take clearance from BCCI’s medical team.
28 -year -old Rishabh is currently rehab for BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. On his fitness, the source of the center said- ‘So far the possibility is that they will get a clean chit by October 10. They will be inspected this week.

Out of Test series against West Indies due to injury
Rishabh Pant is out of the 2 -match Test team released against the West Indies due to his injury. In his place, Dhruv Jurael and Narayan Jagdishan have been included in the team. The first match of this series was won by the Indian team by a margin of innings and 140 runs. The team is ahead 1-0.

Rishabh Pant was injured in the England tour. On the first day of the Manchester Test, Chris Woakes hit Yorker Pant’s claw. Due to this injury, he could not play the last match of the 5 -match series. The series played between India and England ended at a par at 2–2.

Rishabh Pant would like to return to the Indian team against South Africa by proving his fitness in the Ranji Trophy. The South Africa team is coming to the Indian tour in November.
