A decomposed body is found in a drain in Bhiwani village of Jhajjar district of Haryana. The body was so decomposed that it was difficult to even identify who this person was, but when investigation was done and a tattoo on the wrist of the body and clothes were identified, the picture became clear – this body was of Praveen, a resident of Bhiwani.

The case seemed to be a straight murder, but the question was who could kill so brutally? As soon as the police started investigation, the needle of suspicion first turned towards Praveen’s wife Raveena who used to work in reels on social media and short films on YouTube.

But a big question was that when Praveen had no objection to his wife making reels, then why doubt Raveena? Can mere obsession with social media turn someone into a murderer? Or was there some other conspiracy behind this?

Although time passed, one day a CCTV footage surfaced, which revealed the layers of the entire case.

Raveena grew up with her parents, a younger sister and a younger brother in a village in Jhajjar district of Haryana. Father worked in a power plant and mother was a housewife. Raveena was the eldest among the three siblings. The atmosphere of the house was fine, as it happens in ordinary houses.

Raveena studied till 10th. Then one day a message came from Dhani of Gurjars near Bhiwani. The boy’s name was Praveen. He had passed 12th and used to drive an auto in the village. The boy was simple and hardworking. The family members were good and there was a permanent house also. Both the families liked the relationship so the marriage took place.

A few years after marriage, Raveena gave birth to a son. Today that son is 7 years old. After marriage, Raveena did further studies and also did a diploma in tailoring. She worked and also took care of the house. Life was quite ordinary, but it was going on.

But then came the time of Corona when everything came to a halt. During the same time, Raveena got into the habit of watching reels on Instagram. Initially she used to just watch reels for hours. Then one day I just made a video of myself on my mobile and uploaded the reel. And then gradually making reels became his hobby.

Within no time he started uploading dance reels. Raveena was good looking, which is why her popularity started increasing rapidly. Now it was not only the villagers who knew Raveena, but her followers were also increasing on social media.

But as soon as the people in the neighborhood saw Raveena’s reels, they started interrupting Praveen. However, Praveen had no objection to his wife making reels. She never stopped, but as Raveena’s popularity increased, she started getting offers for Haryanvi short films. She often stayed out of the house for two or three days for shooting.

Now Praveen started getting irritated by all this. Then one day he clearly told Raveena to leave reels and films. After listening to her husband, Raveena left everything.

When Raveena worked in short films on YouTube, she met a man named Suresh. Suresh was a resident of Prem Nagar village of Hansi tehsil of Hisar. Both of them had shot together, so they knew each other a little.

When Raveena stopped working in reels and films, Suresh contacted her and asked her to work in reels and short films again. Gradually their conversation increased. First there was friendship and then friendship turned into love. The matter did not stop here, illicit relations also developed between Raveena and Suresh.

Although Suresh was already married. Now Raveena started disappearing from home many times without informing. This thing started bothering Praveen. Now fights started happening in the house every day. On March 23, 2025, when Raveena went home to meet Praveen, Praveen was not at home. When he came, he got angry after seeing her at home. During this, there was a lot of altercation between the two and then Raveena made a plan to kill Praveen.

On March 25, when Raveena got a chance, she called her boyfriend Suresh to her house and then strangulated Praveen while he was sleeping with a chunni. When he started struggling, Suresh held his hands and legs tightly. Within a short time, Praveen died in agony.

As per the plan, after the death, both of them made preparations to make it an accident. Praveen’s body was thrown into the drain, so that it looked like an accident and not a murder. By the time someone finds the dead body, it will have swelled up and will not be identified. Even if identified, it would be considered an accident, because Praveen had the habit of drinking alcohol.

However, it is also claimed that on March 25, Praveen had seen his wife Raveena in an objectionable condition with her lover Suresh, due to which there was a big fight between the two and Praveen was murdered.

Then after committing the incident, both of them returned to their respective homes. The next day Raveena went to her parents’ home. When she returned to her in-laws’ house on March 28, the family members were searching for Praveen. Raveena also pretended to look for her crying husband while pretending to be innocent.

On the other hand, on March 29, a strong smell started coming from the drain near the village. People nearby informed the police when they became suspicious. Police reached the spot and when the drain was examined, a decomposed body was recovered from there.

The condition of the dead body was so bad that it became difficult to identify. Postmortem was conducted, but due to complete decomposition of the body, not much information could be obtained.

There was a tattoo on the hand of the dead body, which was in fairly good condition. The police took the photograph of the deceased on the basis of the same tattoo and circulated it in nearby police stations and posts.

On March 30, Praveen’s family reached the police station. As soon as he saw the photo of the dead body, he recognized from the tattoos and the style of wearing clothes that the body was that of his son Praveen, who was missing since March 25.

As soon as the body was identified, there was chaos in the family. Raveena also started crying bitterly in front of everyone, but somewhere in the minds of the family, questions started arising. Praveen did not drink so much that he would fall into the drain, then why did he go there? This question was troubling him from within. Therefore, instead of just trusting the police, he started investigating himself.

Some members of the family started scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the house. And then they got a clue that they had never imagined. A footage showed that a man riding a bike was repeatedly circling near the house. Then in the second footage the same man appeared with a woman. There was something wrapped in a white sheet between them, the sight of which would raise anyone’s suspicion.

Seeing the appearance of the bike rider seen in the CCTV footage, the family immediately became suspicious of Raveena and Suresh. He was now convinced that Praveen’s death was not an accident but a well-planned conspiracy.

On the night of the incident, both the accused were seen going on a bike.

The family gave all the information to the police without any delay and also handed over the footage. When the police picked up both of them and interrogated them strictly, they confessed to their crime.

During police interrogation, Raveena had said-

On March 23, Praveen and I had a fight. At the same time, in anger, I made a plan to kill Praveen. My mother-in-law has passed away. Father-in-law Subhash is a confectioner, who is often out. He was out even on the day of the fight. Praveen has 2 more brothers. His house is 2 storeyed. Praveen’s younger brother Sandeep lives downstairs. Who is on duty in Panchkula. His wife lives here. Praveen’s elder brother also lives outside with his family. I lived in the upstairs room with my husband Praveen. There were only three people in this two-storey house. So this seemed like the perfect opportunity for murder and then I called my boyfriend and murdered him.
