According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city was attacked by 11 drones. An oil refinery and a technical room were targeted in these attacks. After the attack on the oil refinery, there was an explosion in it. After this, thick smoke was seen rising.

According to Russian officials, Ukraine attacked 15 provinces with 158 drones. They said that Russian air defense intercepted and shot down almost all the drones. There is no report of any loss of life or property in this attack. So far Ukraine has not given any reaction regarding the attack.

Russia fired missiles and guided bombs on Kharkiv
After the Ukrainian attack, Russia on Sunday rained ballistic missiles and guided bombs on Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv. Ukrainian officials said that at least 47 people were injured in these attacks. These include 5 children. The number of people injured in the attack may increase further.

Explosions have taken place at 10 places in Kharkiv in the Russian attack. This is the second major attack by Russia within 48 hours. Earlier, 6 people from Ukraine were killed in the attack on Friday. Among them was a 14-year-old girl. 59 people were seriously injured.

A 12-story residential building and a children’s park were destroyed in this attack. This city with a population of 1.3 million is just 25 miles from the Russian border.

Ukraine wants to attack further into Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky now wants to attack further inside Russia. According to news agency Reuters, he is also pressuring the US for help in this. Zelensky released a video on Saturday and said that on August 30, Russia carried out an airstrike on Kharkiv, in which 6 Ukrainians were killed. 97 people were injured.

Zelensky said that these attacks can be stopped only when Ukraine targets Russia’s airfields and military bases. We are discussing this with our allies every day. We are trying to convince them for this.

‘Long-range missiles needed to defend Ukraine’
Zelensky said, “Russian bombs can be removed from Ukraine’s skies only if we intensify attacks on them. Only then will Russia end the war and move towards peace. To protect Ukraine, we need missiles capable of long-range attack and permission to use them against Russia.”

Zelensky said that his representatives have shared all the necessary information related to this with Ukraine’s allies. Earlier on August 30-31, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umarov met American officials and experts in Washington.
