Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the 135th episode of Mann Ki Baat – India is safe from sea to sky. The PM mentioned the recently tested surface-to-air attack missiles.
He said- In the month of June itself, the country has achieved another major success in the aviation sector. The C-295 aircraft, developed under the Made in India campaign, has completed its first successful flight. At present 40 such aircraft are being manufactured in India only.
He said that recently I got the opportunity to attend a program related to the Navy in Kolkata. There INS Dunagiri, INS Modihar and INS Agray were inducted into the Indian Naval Fleet. Everything till the design and manufacturing of these ships is indigenous.
PM said that this time many yoga programs were organized at more than 2500 places in the world. There was also a lot of discussion about the ‘World Yogasana Championship’ organized in Ahmedabad. India performed brilliantly in this championship and won a total of 114 medals, including 102 gold medals. India has stood first in the medal table.

Thousands of rural women came forward to save ‘Hargila’. Today they are known as ‘Hargila Army’. These women also struggled with the society. Worked day and night to educate the society and left superstitions behind. They have shown that when the right information is delivered, even age-old ideas can change.

PM Modi said that Nalanda University has rejuvenated our ancient tradition of scholarship. Shastrartha is not just a medium to express one’s point. This is a disciplined process of discussion and brainstorming.
He said that it is very important to express your views with logic and facts and you should have expertise in it. We also learn to listen patiently and understand the thoughts of others through this process of study. I am glad that Nalanda University made this a part of its convocation ceremony.
Mention of Delhi Central Sanskrit University
The PM said that Central Sanskrit University, located in Delhi, is going to start B.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This is an important step towards connecting modern technology with the traditional knowledge of India.
This will help in creating new AI tools for Indian languages. The work of preserving our ancient texts and manuscripts in digital form will also get new momentum.
